The Harrisburg Community Foundation (HCF) awarded a $2,500 Community Grant to Harrisburg resident Parker Sisson.

Sisson applied for the grant as part of his Eagle Scout project. The project scope included cleaning up a portion of land and water along Nine Mile Creek to begin the process of creating a future Scout Camp. Funds from the Foundation were used for supplies for the day of the cleanup and to purchase picnic tables, garbage bins, and fire pits. The project also brought together 42 community volunteers who collectively spent more than 200 hours on the project.
